CCTV CAMERA

Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is as well known as video surveillance. Here the video cameras convey a signal to an exact place on a limited set of monitors.

It differs from broadcast television in that the signal is not openly conveyed, though it may employ point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, or mesh wired or wireless links.

Even though almost all video cameras fit this classification, the term is most often applied to those used for surveillance in areas that require extra security or continuous monitoring.

LET’S TALK ABOUT CCTV CAMERA IN BANGLADESH

DIFFERENT TYPES OF CCTV CAMERA

Before we start, there are many aspects of CCTV. We’ve discussed both the analog as well as IP format in a separate article.

Suppose you’ve never read it and are interested in learning more about the analog and IP cameras but aren’t sure about this. In that case, We will focus on the various styles of cameras.

If you’re brand new to CCTV and have been looking at hundreds and hundreds of cameras, you’re getting confused by when we’ve finished this post.

You’ll have a better understanding of the three primary kinds of CCTV cameras, and this will help you pick the right camera for your needs. Like I said, even though there are hundreds of kinds of cameras, I’ll break it down and tell you that there are only three different types of cameras.

Two of which are domes, the first is a turret-dome, the other is made of vinyl, and the last is a bullet camera. There are exceptions. There are cameras like PTZ and covert specialist cameras. Still, we’ll leave them out in this video and focus on those that can fulfill most of the requirements.

Now let’s get started with the dome of the turret. I love this one. I’ve been installing for around 20 years and also managed various companies in the security industry, including the dome turret that was once called an eyeball dome remains my favorite.

Let me show the reasons why right now before we dive into the benefits that this camera offers. We want to inform you something about the various types of CCTV cameras that you may see while browsing the internet.

Let’s look at the turret dome, and all three are turret domes even though they appear slightly different, and the one to the right seems to be more significant.

The reason for the difference in appearance and size is because of the lens and the infrared variations. On the left-hand side, you’ll see that it’s a little more miniature camera with only 15 meters of infrared across. However, it’s still a fixed lens, 30 meters higher. And on the right-hand side, which is the most significant camera, is a lens with a high focal. The reason it’s so important is to make room for the camera.

You’ll notice the identical thing with a dome of vinyl. There are three sizes, and you’ll be able to see the same pattern with the bullet, so don’t think that it will deter you from using them.

They’re still all they belong to this particular design.

Here’s another illustration of a vandal dome that utilizes an angle-mounted bracket. It’s a dome made of vinyl and a right-angle bracketLet’s go back to the turret dome. If you Google turret, you’ll see an explanation that resembles the tower within a tower or military equipment; it’s an element within a mechanism.

Now, how does this relate to those who are brand new to CCTV? I’ll provide a brief explanation of the process of opening the Turret dome. This is what it appears like you’ve got a mounting base, so that’s why it’s referred to as”a turret” because it is positioned in these three distinct components, much like an internal mechanism.

Let’s take a look at the benefits of a turret. The first thing you’ll notice is the cables are neat and concealed because they are between the plate and base; if you’re installing in a home, this could look similar to the wires slipping behind the soffit board, and while looking good and hidden here’s an illustration of a turret installation in the United Kingdom.

You can see the entrance to the front on the left. This is an excellent idea for this type of application. Not just does the camera appear elegant and discrete, but cables are concealed and do not protrude too far, and appear as if they’re supposed to sit there. In this kind of scenario, this is the last thing you want.

Are bullet cameras mounted in a way that increases the security risk? Still, you can essentially hang off the bullet and then push it away.

It’s a camera bullet you’ll want to keep beyond your reach.

The benefits of a turret are that you’re equipped with all the latest technology in a compact, attractive package, and it appears to be the real deal.

Another benefit is to revisit the design of the turret because other cameras can be mounted on balls. You can wall or ceiling mount it, so you can put the same camera on the wall, move it around, and move the ball to ensure it is in the correct direction.

In these images, you can see the small box referred to as an IP enclosure.

This is where the cable from the camera connects with the line that links back to your recorder.

It’s not necessary to do this. Sometimes, you can connect the cable straight through the wall or utilize the term “deep” bass, which is made specifically for this camera and lets you have the junction right in front of the plate used for the base.

Another benefit of the turret that you may or not realize is that it appears as it does because both lenses and the infrared have been separated with a different ring. This is to stop something called infrared bleeding.

This can happen in other cameras; we’ll discuss this more later. When you look at the pictures on the left, these two circles are there because the first one is infrared while the one is on the circle’s lenses—the same concept on the second camera.

You will observe the lens on the left is almost a rectangular piece that separates the infrared from the lens and offers a stunning infrared image, as shown. As I said, this isn’t the norm with every camera; we’ll take a vandal dome in which the lens and the infrared sit inside a machine and are sealed off by a polycarbonate covering.

The issue that may arise from the picture is when rain, sleet, and snow slowly settle on the polycarbonate cover and drying out, it produces microparticles. Infrared light may reflect on top of that, resulting in an awful night picture like the one below. We’ll go in a bit more specific, but let’s save that later.

Let’s begin with the drawbacks of the turret, so one disadvantage is that it allows you to observe which direction the camera is currently facing. But this isn’t an issue for every set. Since you’re likely to like people to be aware that they’re being monitored whenever someone walks by your driveway,

It’s good to let them know that infrared light is shining and that they’re being watched. However, in other scenarios, this may not be the scenario.

Another issue with the turret is that it’s not tamper-proof, so it’s not suitable for use at low elevations. I’d say that it’s not a significant issue; generally, it’s just in highly high-risk areas where you’re aware that cameras are damaged. It’s best to avoid this turret since the direction faces can be moved at deficient levels if the camera is in range.

It is possible to stay clear of the turret, but the fact is that it’s only in high-risk areas that use it for usage in the home. It’s not a problem and remember to take note of it before anyone gets their fingers on the dome of the turret. You’ve already spotted them in the camera.

However, as I mentioned, in high-risk situations, you may need to consider another dome. That brings us to the vandal-resistant dome. According to the name, as you can see, it’s called a vinyl dome because it’s vandal proof. The cover protecting the camera’s mechanism is generally composed of polycarbonate that is very hard to break. I’m going to be truthful with you.

You can break anything using enough force when you’re forced to break it. Still, it’s a rugged camera that is difficult to smash if you choose to check out the international standard called like ten which assures that you’re purchasing an appropriate vandal-resistant camera.

Therefore, in highly high-risk situations, this is an excellent alternative. I did some consulting for a few nightclubs in London. We had to go with the vanilla dome since they were installed with a lower ceiling, and it is easy to imagine what the drunk British on Fridays are like. They aren’t the most pleasant people. Therefore, the vanilla dome was what we selected for a lot of nightclubs. We’ve solved the problem of night vision through technology. I’ll show you how later.

As I stated earlier, if the camera is close to you, this is a viable option. Another benefit of a dome made of vinyl is due to its non-reflective or nearly reflective cover.

If you’re looking upwards at the crown, you can’t see which direction it is facing. This is a plus for some retail purposes on an extensive basis. For instance, if I’m a pickpocket when I glance up and do not know which lens or way the cameras will be facing.

Let’s say you commit a crime, but this is one of the benefits of this type of camera, with the dome cover over it and also where you may prefer not to use the turret in general retail. It’s still a good idea to have a turret. However, it’s something to be aware of within the UK in the case of the majority of supermarkets. Some use this kind of dome or simply a retail crown that doesn’t have the vinyl resistant features, and it’s so that the customers don’t be aware of which way they are looking at the camera.

Another benefit is hanging it from the ceiling or wall, just like the diamond for the turret. Also, they have mounting options, such as an angle bracket that you can look at.

Let’s take a look at the drawbacks of vandalism. I’ll offer some suggestions for solving the problem of infrared. These close-up pictures will give you an understanding of how the camera was constructed. There are two infrareds, with the lens being in the middle.

It’s the mechanism, and when you want to close it off, you’d typically put it in the van or the resistant bubble as described earlier if you have dried-out water and stains on it. The result is that you get an awful night image. This is because the infrared light that sits behind the bubble reflects off dirt and bounces back. The other issue that you could face is if it’s not sealed correctly, there is an Ir bleed. This is when the infrared gets into the lens. There’s a way to fix this, which I’ve demonstrated here.

Both of these images are located on the same web page. It was initially fitted to the Diavel-type dome, along with an infrared, and you can see the kind of images that the customer was receiving before they changed it to the low-hight crown, which isn’t dependent on infrared. The benefit of using the low-light technology is that it produces a full-color image, and images on the right side could appear glowing If you went to the actual website, it’s incredibly dark.

The reason why it’s glowing is due to the camera’s software that processes it, which produces an appealing color image, as shown here. It’s essential to keep this in mind when you’re using the dome made of vinyl, don’t rely entirely on infrared. Other manufacturers appear to have done a superior job of designing the crown. However, I’d suggest that you do not use infrared on the dome.

If it’s well lit. One option is to choose the vinyl dome with a low-light option. Many manufacturers use their technology. They refer to it as all kinds of things such as vision, dark vision, or whatever other name you’d like to name it; the concept is the same. It’s that the camera functions at a low lux level.

Be aware that low-light technology requires lighting with pitch blacklight; it’s either a street light or similar lighting fixtures on pillars. The reason for choosing the dome made of vinyl on this particular site in the first place is because it’s an entrance for the residential properties that are mounted on the pillar, which is in reach, as we’ve explained previously. To combat the issue of infrared, opt for one with some low-light technology as long as there is lighting in the space.

And lastly, and I’m sure that we haven’t shown the camera much attention but the bullet camera, which was the first type of CCTV camera that was designed for people like me who have used these cameras for decades. It was a common sight in the past. Bullet cameras were the initial kind of CCTV camera that could have body cameras housed in an enclosure, lenses, and an infrared lamp.

Those five or four parts are what make the bullet camera of today. Times. It’s all an excellent piece of equipment; you’ll observe the bullet camera being frequently used in commercial settings. This is due to it being a perfect visual deterrent compared to domes. It is a little easier to maneuver into various angles; it’s great for large or commercial areas, such as warehouses, aisles of shopping, and warehouses. Bullets are an excellent choice to use for this.

Another benefit is similar to the turret of today; they come with the infrared lens separator, which gives an excellent night view like the one shown identical to the vinyl dome, bullets and turrets are also able to be equipped with a low light technology that gives you an image in color at night instead of the idea that’s black and white.

We’ll discuss this in a separate article about night vision, but keep in mind that any camera can be equipped with low-light technology. However, you will need to have lighting and street lights to brighten it up enough, and you’ll get a good color image.

Another benefit of the bullet is due to its size, which you can squeeze. The lens can be of any type, which is why most ampr cameras that you use as the identification camera for number plates will always be a bullet because the dimension of the camera allows the technology to be contained.

The disadvantages of bullets: I am aware that lots of you are purchasing kits on the internet, and I will suggest that if you are buying kilts that have ammunition, you should avoid fitting them too low. The area you wish to move should be out of your reach, but one of the disadvantages of the better is that it’s visually.

It’s not always a good idea to have something sticking out of the soffit board.

This eliminates the security threat. It’s okay for higher fitting for and, therefore.

It’s a fantastic option for commercials.

This is it, and we’re done.
